We’re well past the halfway mark of the year and we’ve seen a good number of bathroom trends of 2020. Do you have a favorite trend? We certainly do — we’ve compiled a list below of all of our favorite 2020 bathroom trends. |
Associated with the precious metal, the color gold is associated with wealth and success. As such, even a single gold accent can give any space a bit of glamour. Taking it a step further, gold-colored fixtures can add a look of timeless luxury to your bathrooms. |
For a more subtle glamour, we would recommend brushed brass over a polished brass color finish.
Did you know that the industrial style was pioneered in the mid-1970s when adaptive reuse became popular? The style has been on the rise since. |
2020 is not exempt from the rising trend. While a fully “industrial” bathroom is rare, we’ve seen many styles such as vintage mixed with industrial.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. For a lot of us, re-evaluating what is “normal” was needed. For some of us, that evaluation carried to bathroom designs and produced many eccentric bathrooms. |
Pink wasn’t a color commonly seen in bathrooms, but we’ve seen a rise this year. We love what @athomewithashley has done here! While not completely pink, her pink clawfoot tub is the clear focal point here with a wallpaper that brings out the pink.
In previous years, many people preferred to stick with neutral colored bathrooms. This year, try spicing up your bathroom with a contrasting dark-colored paint like midnight blue or forest green instead. |
A great example of this is by @style_by_mimig, who adds to a rich, deep blue color to her otherwise neutral bathroom palette.
A fun way to add to your bathroom is with framed mirror vanities. It’s functional, but it is also a statement piece that will complement a more minimal bathroom. |
This double vanity bathroom by @decorbytor has a simple neutral color palette, letting the details such as the statement mirror and faucet speak.
Freestanding tubs have a tendency to be associated with modern luxury, but 2020 has proven that freestanding tubs can be stylistically versatile. |
We love how @elevengables has styled her elegant, vintage styled bathroom with an understated freestanding tub.
