Avoid Abrasives

Mix Dish Soap and Vinegar

Try heating up a cup of plain white vinegar in the microwave until it’s hot, then mix in four tablespoons of dish soap. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and cover the glass surfaces in need of cleaning.
Use a soft sponge or microfiber glass scrubbing puff to work on areas with heavy soap scum or scale deposit.
Rinse the glass within a few minutes of spraying to ensure the vinegar doesn’t etch the glass or other finishes around the enclosure. If this mixture doesn’t remove hard water deposits, try a calcium and limescale removal spray.
Squeegee After Each Use
A daily routine that reduces the amount of water and soap residue that sits on the glass goes a long way in reducing the chance of damage from cleaning. This is true for shower bases and hand showers alike.
For glass enclosures and doors, a shower squeegee is the best tool to use.
Rinse the glass to wash away any lingering soap or hair, then use the flexible rubber edge of the squeegee to remove water droplets. Letting water dry on the glass will immediately start to make the enclosure look less luxurious.
