You may not be able to live the same lavish lifestyle as Hollywood celebrities, but you can emulate a few of their bathroom designs! Check out these spa-like A-lister bathrooms and how you can pull off a similar look in your own home:
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s lifestyles exude glamour and sophistication, so it’s no surprise that their bathroom design evokes these same qualities. There are a whole lot of amazing elements in their bathroom, but we’re going to focus on three that you can easily implement into your own home: light, creative storage space and a freestanding tub.
Their shower features a wall niche that neatly tucks away all of their bath essentials. This element is much preferred to a shower caddy because it doesn’t take up any extra space. You may also want to note the large paneled window in Kim and Kanye’s shower. This instantly brightens up the shower to create a light and inviting ambiance for a comfortable shower experience. Kim enjoys a beautiful porcelain freestanding tub as well to help her bathroom reflect a spa-like environment. Consider a freestanding tub for your own bathroom to add a glamorous, vintage touch to the space.
Benji Madden
This rocker really knows how to use color to bring his bathroom to life. His shower is decorated with white subway tile, and the space is enclosed in glass to help add square footage to his bathroom. What really shines, however, is his Moroccan-style area rug and beautifully colored linens.
You can add pops of color to your own bathroom design using easily interchangeable items, such as bath towels, hand towels and bath mats. Swap these out every spring, summer, fall and winter to reflect the style of the season.
Pamela Anderson
Former “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson isn’t afraid to use shimmering metallics in her bathroom. An entire wall is covered with silver tile and accented with a gorgeous modern mirror. She offsets the neutral colors in her bathroom with greenery and a beautiful painting of flowers.
Bring a bit of sparkle and shine into your own bathroom. You can go all-out like Pamela did and opt for a metallic backsplash, or you can go in a more subtle direction, with a metallic framed mirror or shimmering wall pendants. Inject a bit of color into your bathroom by decorating the surface of your vanity with a simple vase of flowers.
