If you haven’t already caught on, blue has steadily proved to be a popular interior design statement color in 2021. We’ve seen some gorgeous applications of the color on social media and have gathered the most inspirational uses within the bathroom space. We hope that the following inspires you to also add some blue hues into your bathroom! |
Like so many other lovely bathrooms on this list, this bathroom mostly makes use of neutrals and employs the use of blue as an accent color. Painting your vanity can be easily DIYed, making it a great idea for a quick bathroom facelift. Aside from a neutral palette, grays also pair well with blues so color finishes like black stainless steel would also be flattering to the space.
Another great option for incorporating blue is none other than by changing your walls! Painting you walls blue or one statement wall blue is one way to achieve blue, but don’t overlook wallpaper options too. There are so many fun wallpaper options on the market. We especially love the delicate florals in Jena Salmon’s bathroom. An even more budget-friendly alternative would be to create your own paint stencils for a patterned painted wall. To learn more about this, check out our bathroom tips with The Inspired Room.
Doors are also worthy of being included in bathroom remodels! We love an accent door because it can really pull a space together subtly.
Perhaps you’re looking to add a more unique touch to your bathroom that can make it feel like it’s really yours? Well, we were really inspired by this doggy shower. Not only are the subways tiles a stylish blue, but the floor tiles also have custom bones!
If you’re someone that would prefer to keep their space uncluttered with minimal decor, sometimes it can be hard to arrange a space that isn’t too boring. We find that fun patterned flooring can often bring some fresh air into space and make a statement about who you are!
Even with all the above options, sometimes the best option is still the simplest. You can’t go wrong painting your walls a solid blue. Although blues are often paired as a neutral as a statement, blues can also be treated as a neutral when it comes to color finish pairings. Blue is extremely versatile and we hope that we’ve inspired you to incorporate blue into your home!
