Moody Bathrooms of Insta and Their Wall-Mount Faucets
| If you’ve seen the list of Our Favorite 2021 Bathroom Trends and scrolled through our Instagram lately, it would come as no surprise that we have been obsessed with bathrooms with a moodier scheme. Black and gold bathroom themes, dark green bathroom walls, and dark-stained woods in all their glory have found a place in the spotlight this year and we’ve gathered some of our favorite dark and moody bathrooms from our Instagram @kingstonbrass. |
You’ll find that all of the following bathrooms have wall-mount faucets. It goes without saying that wall mount faucets are especially good for small bathrooms with limited counter space. However, they can also work well in bathrooms that may look smaller than it actually is. Just as painting the walls white opens up the space, dark walls can make the room seem smaller than it actually is. So, if you’re thinking about creating the edgy, moody bathroom of your dreams, we recommend installing a wall-mount faucet especially if your plans involve a dark splash of paint on your wall.

This sensual shot is one of our personal favorites. The elements in this bathroom are relatively simple – no extra patterns or textures, just a solid dark green base color and mostly straight lines. But because of the simplicity, the polished gold faucet stands out more, and the beveled mirror works well to contrast the sharp edges of the sink. In all, what seems to be a simple design, is actually really effective at capturing one’s gaze just where it’s supposed to be.
