Apples are an easy and delicious fruit, whether its eating them as a snack, in a pie or sippin’ them as a cider. For an apple cider recipe, one kitchen fixture that could be extra helpful is a pot filler. This recipe requires ten apples to be boiled in a stockpot which can become especially heavy. A pot filler is wall mounted above the stove and swings over to provide access to water, avoiding the hassle of carrying the pot back and forth to the sink. One of the easier drinks to make, Apple Cider, recipe found below.
10 apples cut in quarters (variety = preference)
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground allspice
Cinnamon sticks, optional, for serving
