Tubing is thin, IMO.
Wall bracket/socket crush the tube and do not hold it parallel to ground.
Single ceiling support rod allows whole unit to teeter. outer rod does not stay parallel to the inner and looks terrible from a distance.
Thin tubes do not lend themselves to cutting with a tubing cutter as it drifts if not tight enough and then crushes tube when sufficiently tight.
Splice piece is friction fit, no way to secure the joint tightly to prevent wobbling.
KB needs to stiffen this up and add support rods for the short legs, increase the wall thickness on tubes and use an internally threaded splice joint, (twist to tighten).
Never again will I purchase this rod kit. I now have to find a better product elsewhere.
Cheers!
