The cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Washerless cartridges in particular are very easy to replace and repair. As this cartridge is not as sensitive to dirt, it allows for effortless control of the desired volume of water flow. This stem cartridge is cold-side cartridge with D-type broach. Compatible with KF471 laundry faucet.

KBRP201CC Cold Cartridge

If this does solve the faucet dripping from the spout then I'm not pleased with the durability as this cartridge was previously replaced and it seems not to last like other brands. Also shipping was very expensive and inconvenient as would not ship to my address for a reasonable fee. Could have been shipped by post to my door for a reasonable cost but would not do it. I wish the part was available on Amazon as the part cost is reasonable and free shipping right to my door. They have it listed but none are available. Maybe Kingston Brass can make it available on Amazon.
