KSRP1291HC Hot Ceramic Disc Cartridge (1 Piece), Polished Chrome

The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement. This hot-side stem cartridge with a 3/8" x 16 spline broach.

Ksrp1291 hot ceramic disk cartridge

The price for this cartridge is very high at USD $ 44.95 with shipping of USD $ 30.55 a little much. However the process to get the part was easy and the updates and help to track the shipment by Kingston was very good. They do make some nice faucets. So in the end …… still happy!
