The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement.

Leaks

The original part dripped. I ordered a replacement which also dripped. The fix was to replace washer with a thicker one. Called customer service to return replacement part. She said she would email me instructions which I have not received.

Had a leak… excellent fix

So we had a leaky valve and then I went to Home Depot, Lowe’s and Grover’s and Fergusons and NO ONE could help! Suggested I contact Kingston Brass, so I did and within minutes I was sent email with part and cost and ordered instantly and WHAM!!! Fixed. Thank you soooo much for your expertise!!!
