If you have children, you know that those bathroom towels often end up on the floor. But with the proper storage space for linens, that mess may be a thing of the past. Here are a few ways that you can keep your towels nice and organized in your bathroom:
Use a wine rack
Have a wine rack that you’re not using? You may want to consider giving it a new home: your bathroom. This is perfect for holding rolled-up towels and displaying them in a stylish and organized manner. Reclaimed wood wine racks are perfect for a vintage style bathroom, while a stainless steel or wrought iron rack might be better suited for a modern or contemporary space.
Under-sink baskets
Conveniently store stacks of fresh towels underneath your sink or vanity using baskets or bins. This way, you can use wall space for other bathroom storage and for putting artwork on display.
A ladder
Take that old ladder that you’re not using out of your garage and put it into your bathroom. Leave the reclaimed wood as is for a rustic touch, or give it a fresh coat of paint to liven up the space. You can use the ladder to store folded towels along with plenty of other bathroom essentials such as soap, shampoo and loofahs.
Nautical rope
If you’re after a beachy vibe in your bathroom, consider installing some hooks in the wall to hold a string of nautical rope. You can drape your linens over the rope to produce a casual and coastal feel in your bathroom.
Coat rack
Repurpose the coat rack from your entryway and place it in a corner of your bathroom to easily hang up towels. Consider putting the coat rack nearby the shower or tub so you won’t have to track water around the room to retrive your towel when you’re done bathing.
A bowl
Give your bathroom the luxury feel of a hotel by rolling up your towels and putting them on display in colorful bowls. Place the containers on open shelving alongside other bathroom essentials.
A bar on the door
Install a traditional towel rack on the back of your door. This option is great if you’re short on space. You can even consider putting more than one rack on the back of the door to maximize storage space.
Vintage faucet taps
If you have old vintage faucets, consider re-purposing the handles to create towel hooks. You can mount them on salvaged wood and put it on display on your bathroom wall.
As you can see, there are so many different creative ways to display your bathroom linens, each of them suited to different decor styles. Pick your favorite and start getting organized!
