KSRPT1000HC Hot Ceramic Disc Cartridge for CC Tub Faucet, Raw

The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement.

Look high and low for this cartridge. A local plumber suggested Kingston. When we contacted them and sent photos of the part needing replacing, within 15 min they had identified what was needed. Ordered placed and shipped with no issues. Excellent customer service.

Not a fit

The cartridges were a mismatch for our faucets and in a written response to request for review I asked for advice and have not had response from customer service.

Why such a high cost

When you charge such a high price for the replacement cartridges, it’s the main reason why I convince customers to go with Delta or Moen since the replacement is free.
