KSRPL5000HC Hot Ceramic Disc Cartridge (1 Piece), Raw

The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement.

Incorrect Part received

I had purchased a faucet from Kingston Brass, less than a year later the faucet started leaking. I ordered a hot cartridge and a cold cartridge to replace the faulty ones. My plumber confirmed the parts received were the wrong parts and would not work. In order to return the parts it took me 5 calls, 3 emails and finally an actual live agent responded. I shall never purchase anything in the future from Kingston Brass.

Almost A Match

After sending pictures to a competitor I was told I had what looked like a Kingston faucet. It did look the same but my faucet was installed in '92 and I was told by Kingston that they didn't start until '98. I purchased the cartridge anyway and it's almost a fit for what I have. I had to make a Mickey Mouse adjustment to make not the cartridge but the faucet handle fit tightly. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and the function of the cartridge.
