KS1000C Cold Ceramic Disc Cartridge (1 Piece), Raw

The ceramic disc cartridge is the heart of the faucet, controlling its temperature and water flow. Internally, two opposing discs made out of ceramic carbide rotate to control the flow of water. Because ceramic carbide is impervious to friction, it can last for many years before needing replacement.

Cartridge worked fine but…

I’m a little disappointed that I had to replace it after only 2 years of installation of the new fixture. Bought a hot one as well because I assume it won’t last much longer either.
